Full Blood Wagyu

TheĀ Definition

Full Blood Wagyu, as the name suggests are cattle whose genetics are exclusively from Japanese stock on both the male and female lines. DNA typing in Japan has revealed that traces of other breeds are present in the wagyu variety and thus it is impossible to have a 100% wagyu animal with no non-wagyu genes. For marketing purposes, full-blood wagyu is understood to mean that the animals are not crossed with any other breed, but exclusively with those that can officially be considered “Wagyu”.

TheĀ Genetics

Our Full-Blood wagyu herd includes some of the leading Sires and Dams in Australia. Of the original genetics imported from Japan in the 1980s, we feature animals that have proven growth, marbling and performance indicators.
